“… the ego consciousness which, acting during the day and dreaming during the night, tossed up and down like a cork floating on the surface of a billowy sea, remains entirely in the dark about the wonders enacted in its mortal mould.”
- Gopi Krishna
Lets open up the discussion of what is to proceed. The serpent energy is known in the East as Kundalini. What you are about to read is written in free verse poetry and explains an experience I had in Iquitos, Peru when I touched hands with a paralyzed woman on her death bed. This woman is my teacher Juan’s mother-in-law, might I add.
At the base of our spine, coiled, dormant and entwined
within all of our genetic coding,
is an evolutionary energy, so old and unknown.
Secret myths of its existence are only discussed amongst the mystics.
It is the root of our being and the source of all creative energy.
This creative force when awakened uses the body’s 7 energy centers to ascend, where it meets our true purpose in life. It’s hiding deep inside our reptilian mind, a tiny little gland endogenously secreting dimethyltryptamine - and BAM!!
Explosions of bright light!
The staff of Hermes held high.
Its big, beautiful wings bursting out the halo of our crown
3rd and 5th eye blown wide open
connecting with higher frequencies
consciousness is merely a grand symphony
of electrical currents
these fuses within our delicate human circuitry
start over loading
as we pass through the one thousand petaled lotus
the flower of life
portal to our next existence
a bright silvery light
reaching is the hand of Great Spirit
the serpent energy fully released and realized
as the sacred dance that transcends all barriers of the conditioned mind
Shiva and Shakti unite
Why open up the discussion of Kundalini? Why is it important to speak of mystifying ideas of energy? It is important because we need to know our true potential. Kundalini is only a word that we use to describe the great force of creative energy in its awakened state. The truth is that we all possess this creative will and many of us have stunted our most powerful ally: Our creative mind.
Part III of the Serpent Energy and the Entrepreneur will discuss how to tap into this creative spirit, kundalini, and how to overcome the pitfalls of the conditioned mind that can’t seem to stay focused with all of its thoughts, feelings, and external stimulus.
