Who am I? What led me here?
Who are you?! Why are you here?!
I’m here for piercing and jewelry! Yes, Yes!
I started Chief Piercing three years ago. My purpose for opening Chief was simple:
I needed to create space that allowed my beliefs to become an active place of meditation and that allowed Spirit to express itself through a multitude of mediums connected to such an establishment.
Whoa whoa whoa… slow down! Can you repeat that? How about you re-read that. OK! I re-read it, re-read it, re-read it. You capitalized Spirit? You wrote you needed to create space. Don’t you mean place? What beliefs and mediums are you talking about here? I understood establishment, and I think what you are saying is that Chief is a spiritual place.
Yes! That is it! To be exact and clear: Chief is a place of practice. We practice developing a present mind, developing a strong root, and learning interconnectedness.
What kind of talk is that?! Is it alien? Maybe. It’s Dharma talk, which is kind of alien. It is most certainly esoteric. This post is one of a series that will be exploring the perplexing Spirit of Dharma that has been the driver behind the Wheel.
The Wheel is me, was me, well… now it’s you and them, they, he or she, all beings intermingling like the roots of trees flirting in the dirt, under the streets, sharing and connecting all of our energy, communicating on high and low frequencies, acting like we don’t know the truth of our soul, which sits in joyous bliss, yet we abide by the conditioned mind, frequently lost in the chaos.
